Cartooning Class Party at the Cartoon Art Museum

Cartoonist Brian Kolm (Beyond the Great Chimney, www.atomicbearpress.com) leads an intimate group of students on a weeklong journey from concept through design of an original cartoon character. The class covers drawing 3-D shapes, combining the shapes to give a character depth, poses and attitude, costume, etc. The class ends with each child presenting his or her artwork in a show-and-tell session.
