Here are some ideas to get you started:

What if?

EXERCISE: Take a favorite charcter and use the magic words: WHAT IF..... They if they lived in a different time or place, where a different gender, body shape, age, species, attitude, or race. Then do a drawing of it.

Sometimes play like this will help loosen your mind to try new things.

This is a great way to pass the time while traveling:

  1. Take index cards or strips of paper and write down different types of characters, such as: Clown, Pirate, Witch, Cheerleader, Cyborg, Superhero, Elf, Rock Star.
  2. Write down descriptive words such as: Thin, Chubby, Shiny, Muscular, Tall, Tiny, Short, Beautiful, Metallic, One-Eyed.
  3. When you want to play, draw 3 words and try to draw a character as fast as possible.

Its a fun way to kill time in the back of a car or on a train or plane. Good for all ages too.
